American University of Nigeria (AUN) is a private university located in Yola, Adamawa State in Nigeria.

AUN was founded in 2003 by Atiku Abubakar, a former Nigeria Vice President and a philanthropist.

American University of Nigeria School Fees

The school fees at AUN vary depending on the program and level of study.

For undergraduate studies, the tuition ranges from N1.5m – N2.5m per session,

while the tuition fees for graduate studies range from N1m – N3.5m per session.

The tuition fees cover the cost of registration, tuition, accommodation, and other university-related expenses.

Compared to other private universities in Nigeria, AUN’s tuition is relatively high, but it is worth every penny, given the quality of education and services the university offers.

To be admitted into AUN, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• JAMB score – UTME score must be 180 or above.

• O-level results – candidates must have at least 5 credits, including English and Mathematics.

• AUN’s entrance examination – this is a mandatory exam that tests applicants’ knowledge of English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.

• An interview – shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview to assess their suitability for the program they applied for.

• Transfers – candidates who wish to transfer from other universities must meet the above requirements and provide a transcript of their academic records.

The admission process at AUN is highly competitive, and only the best candidates are offered admission.

Candidates are advised to start the admission process early and ensure that they meet all the requirements.

AUN provides on-campus accommodation for its students. The university has several well-maintained hostels that are both comfortable and secure.

The hostels are divided into male and female sections, with each section housing up to 4 students per room.

Every room is ensuite and comes with a bed, wardrobe, study table, and chair. The hostels are equipped with facilities such as a common room, and study areas.

To secure accommodation at AUN, students must apply through the university’s accommodation portal.

The application is subject to availability, and priority is given to international students, students with health issues, and students coming from a far distance.

The hostel fees vary depending on the room type, and it is payable annually or per semester.
