Babcock University is a private Christian university located in Ilisan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria.

The institution was established on April 1, 1999. It is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria.

Babcock University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional degree programs in various fields of study.

Babcock University School Fees

Babcock University is a prestigious institution, but the school fees can be considered as high, especially for parents who have multiple children who are attending the university.

The tuition and other fees for the 2021/2022 academic session range from N610,000 to N1,006,000, depending on the faculty and the academic program.

The faculty of Medicine and Surgery has the highest tuition fee of N1,006,000, followed by the faculty of Law, which has a tuition fee of N960,000.

The faculties of Engineering, Computing and Engineering Sciences, and Science have tuition fees of N810, 000, N730,000, and N610,000, respectively.

Apart from tuition fees, other fees, such as accommodation, medical fees, and library fees, are also required.

Hostel accommodation in Babcock University is compulsory for all students, and it costs between N210,000 and N350,000 per session. The medical fee is N25,000, while the library fee is N20,000.

Babcock University school Admission Requirements

In order to be admitted into Babcock University, students must meet the following general requirements:

• Possession of a minimum of five credit passes, including English and Mathematics, at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.

• A minimum of two A-level passes, or its equivalent, in relevant subjects for direct entry admission into the university.

• A minimum of 180 JAMB score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the undergraduate programs.

• A minimum of 200 JAMB score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the faculty of Medicine and Surgery.

• A minimum of 200 JAMB score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for Law.

• Successful completion of the Babcock University pre-degree program for candidates who did not meet the JAMB score requirements.

• Applicants must be of good moral character and abide by the university’s rules and regulations.

Babcock University school Hostel and Accomodation

As stated earlier, accommodation in the Babcock University hostel is mandatory for all students.

The university provides decent and comfortable hostels for students, with a total capacity of about 8,000 beds. There are male and female hostels, and each student is assigned to a room on a first-come, first-served basis.

The hostel rooms are furnished with a bed, study table, and wardrobe for each student.

The hostels have 24/7 electricity and water supply, and each hostel block has a common area for relaxation and socialization.

Students are required to pay the hostel accommodation fees along with the tuition fees.

The payment should be made during the registration process.

The hostel accommodation fees are non-refundable, and students who violate the hostel rules and regulations may be evicted from the hostel.
