Ebonyi State University Admission Requirements
To gain admission to Ebonyi State University, potential candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Applicants must have five credits in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English in either WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB at not more than two sittings.
• Candidates must attain the UTME cut-off mark of the university in the relevant subject.
• Candidates who have not selected Ebonyi State University for UTME but meet the admission requirements will be considered for admission in a supplementary application.
• Direct Entry applicants must possess at least two A’ Level passes, including Mathematics and English Language and are expected to obtain a Minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant O’ Level subjects.
• Prospective students must have participated in the UTME examination and obtained the prescribed score for admission in that year’s exercise.

Ebonyi State University Hostel Accommodation
Ebonyi State University offers hostel accommodation for its students on-campus.
The hostels provide a comfortable and conducive environment for students to study and live.
However, the university’s hostel accommodation is limited; hence, it is given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The hostel accommodation fee ranges between 15,000 NGN to 20,000 NGN per session, depending on the room and the level of study.
Students who are unable to secure the university’s hostel accommodation can opt for off-campus accommodation, which is readily available at an affordable rate.
