Federal University, Gusau formerly known as Zamfara State University is a federal institution established in 2013.
The university is located in the capital city of Gusau, Zamfara State in Nigeria.

The school fees of Federal University, Gusau vary depending on the faculty and department of study.
However, the school fees for all faculties and departments are affordable and, most importantly, reasonable.
The school fees for a new student in any department of the university is about N27,000, while the returning students pay about N22,000.
These are relatively low compared to other universities in the country.
Although there’s hike in school fees in Nigeria recently we don’t know what they have concluded about there own increasement.
Federal University, Gusau Admission Requirements
To gain admission to Federal University, Gusau, candidates must meet certain requirements, including academic and non-academic requirements.
For undergraduate admission, candidates are expected to have a minimum of five O’level credit passes in subjects that are relevant to the chosen course of study.
Also, the candidates must obtain a minimum score of 160 to 180 in the UTME.
Additionally, candidates who chose the university as their first choice during JAMB registration and met the minimum cut-off mark will be eligible to sit for the post-UTME examination of the university.
Federal University, Gusau Hostel Accommodation
Federal University, Gusau provides accommodation for students within the university campus.
The university has male and female hostels with standard facilities that ensure students’ comfort and convenience.
The hostels have facilities such as air-conditioned rooms, reading tables/chairs, bunk beds, private bath and toilet, wardrobe, and dedicated power supply.
The hostel fees are also affordable, ranging from N15,000 to N30,000, depending on the type of room and the facilities available.
