Federal University of Technology, Akure Admission Requirements
FUTA is one of the few universities with a comparatively high cut off mark. The University’s Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) cut-off mark for UTME applicants is 200.
Prospective candidates must possess a minimum of five credit passes at not more than two sittings in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates are also to sit and pass the post-UTME screening exercise and possess at least, a second-class lower credit from any recognized university or polytechnic.
Direct Entry candidates must also have a minimum of upper credit in OND or a merit in NCE.

FUTA’s school fee is relatively affordable compared to other Nigerian federal universities.
The tuition fee for undergraduates ranges between N50,000 and N60,000. Supplementary fees may also be included for students who are to live on campus or need to pay for other learning materials.

Accommodation is available for students on and off-campus, but only a limited number of students are allowed to stay on campus.
