With Palmpay, you can link your BVN number to your account to make transactions easier and faster.

However, there may come a time when you need to remove your BVN from Palmpay for some reason.

Log into your Palmpay account

To remove your BVN from Palmpay, you need to log into your Palmpay account. You can do this by opening the Palmpay app on your phone and entering your login credentials. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by following the prompts on the login page.

Navigate to the “Profile” section

Once you are logged into your Palmpay account, you need to navigate to the “Profile” section. This section contains all the information that you provided when you registered for your Palmpay account. To access the “Profile” section, click on the menu button at the top left corner of the screen and select “Profile”.

Click on “BVN”

From the profile page, select the “BVN” option. This will allow you to view the BVN number that you have linked to your Palmpay account.

Remove your BVN

After selecting the “BVN” option, you will see your BVN number displayed on the screen. To remove it, click on the “Delete” button that is located next to your BVN number.

You will be prompted to confirm that you want to remove your BVN. Click “Yes” to confirm.

Verify your identity

After confirming that you want to remove your BVN, you will be required to verify your identity.

This is to ensure that you are the actual owner of the Palmpay account and the BVN number that you want to remove.
