Kwara State University (KWASU) is a public institution located in Ilorin, the capital city of Kwara State in Nigeria.
The establishment of the school was approved by the Kwara State Government in 2005, while academic activities commenced in 2009.
KWASU was established with the aim of providing quality education to students in Kwara State and beyond, with a vision of becoming a center of excellence in teaching, research, and community service.

Kwara State University Admission Requirements
undergraduates must pass the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, obtain the required cut-off mark for their chosen course, and also possess the appropriate O-level requirements for their chosen course of study.
Applicants must have five credits in O level subjects, including Mathematics and English.
For postgraduate students, admission is open to students who possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of a second class lower division or equivalent in the relevant field of study.
