Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, located in Zaria, is a renowned educational institution in Nigeria and has gained popularity over the years for its excellence in technical and vocational education.

The institution is often referred to as NUBAPOLY for short and has been in existence since 1989 when it was founded as Kaduna State Polytechnic.

In 2001, it was renamed after the late Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji (Dr.) Shehu Idris, who was the Chancellor of the institution.

NUBAPOLY has made it to the top of the list of higher institutions in Nigeria with a mission to produce highly skilled professionals in technology and management with a view to contributing to the development of the society.

The institution offers a wide range of courses into various fields of study, such as Engineering, Applied Science, Environmental Studies, Agriculture, and Social Sciences.

Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria Admission Requirements

NUBAPOLY has various admission requirements for prospective students intending to pursue full-time ND and HND programs in the institution.

For ND admission, candidates must have a minimum of five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in the relevant subjects in their O’Level results.

They must also score a minimum of 120 marks in UTME or have undertaken the Polytechnic’s Post UTME.

For HND admission, candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a reputable institution, or a recognized equivalent qualification in relevant fields of study.

They must have also completed one-year Industrial Training (IT) after the ND program.

Like every tertiary institution, NUBAPOLY has its school fees, which varies depending on the department and level of studies.

The school fee for ND students ranges from N45,000 to N55,000,

while that of HND students ranges from N57,000 to N65,000.

The institution provides hostel accommodation for students that are interested in on campus living.

The room cost range from N15,000 to N20,000 per year.
