The West African Examination Council (WAEC) is an internationally recognized exam body,

established in 1952 with a mandate to conduct Senior School Certificate Examinations for five English speaking
West African countries, namely Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Liberia.

In 2023, WAEC is expected to carry out recruitment of qualified individuals to fill available vacancies in the organization.

The WAEC recruitment process has been designed to attract dynamic and innovative individuals to contribute to the growth and development of the organization.

The recruitment process is open to all citizens of the West African countries and qualified applicants with relevant qualifications and experience.

Requirements

The WAEC recruitment is open to individuals who meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must be citizens of the West African countries in which WAEC operates.

• Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any relevant discipline.

• Relevant Professional certification from recognized institutions will be an added advantage.

• Applicants should have good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications.

• A minimum of five years of relevant work experience is required.

• Applicants must be able to work effectively in a team.
