Yusuf Maitama Sule University Admission Requirements

Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano offers admission to prospective students based on the guidelines provided by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Candidates are required to have a minimum score of 180 in their JAMB examination before they can be considered for admission.

In addition to the JAMB score, candidates are also expected to have at least five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.

The university also accepts the National Examination Council (NECO), West African Examination Council (WAEC), and National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) certificates.

Those who wish to be considered for direct entry into 200-level courses must obtain a National Diploma, qualifications from recognised institutions.

The school fees at Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano vary depending on the programme of study and level of academic admission.

the fees for undergraduate programmes in the Faculty of Science for the 2019/2020 academic session were as follows:

– New Students: N27,000
– Returning Students: N35,000

Returning students are required to make payment for tuition, registration fees, and other charges.
